More Loose Ends......

Hi again, everyone! I don't really have a whole lot that's coherent to say, so I guess I'll just tie up a few more loose ends.

Just for the record, my dear wife does read my blog, and she did clear the last post before I put it up. She was a little disappointed that so few of you tried to set me straight. However, thanks to your lack of advice, I continue not to care at all about sports in general, so I guess I'll let my daughter continue to wear her potentially blasphemous outfit.

I have finally finished Rayman 2: The Great Escape. I enjoyed the game, but was kind of disappointed at the lack of recognition of accomplishment at the end of the game. Basically, if you collect all 1,000 yellow lums, you get your name in the end credits. There is a short video clip showing that Rayman escaped from the exploding pirate ship (as also did Captain Razorbeard) and comes back to his friends that he has saved from the Robo-Pirates. You don't even get to save your accomplishment at the end.

I have now begun Playing Star Wars Demolition, Star Wars themed vehicular combat game, and I will probably try to play Star Wars Republic Commando as well.

I just got back from a weekend in PA. We took Karissa to see her extended Graybill family for the first time. She traveled well, but was very fussy at the get-together and when we were visiting a friend of Renee's. I guess She really doesn't like to meet lots of strange people at once. :-) I felt kind of sorry for her when, as everyone was looking at her and wanting to hold and touch her, I saw her little lower lip start to poke out a little, then some more, and then she started to cry. Poor girl! It must have been a very traumatic experience! :-)

Oh, well- There's probably my post for the next two or three weeks. I kind of debate how much it's worth posting. If I posted daily and kept everyone up to date on the minute details of my life, it would probably get pretty boring. Not that it's not pretty boring anyway, but that's beside the point.

Anyway, until next time.....

Un-Mennonite Baby Clothes?

Hi again, everyone! I have a very interesting problem this time. We Mennonites are not supposed to be involved in things of the world, like sports and the like, right? Well, my wife found this Penn State onesie for my little daughter. Penn State!!!! Isn't that just blasphemous, especially in UVA and Virginia Tech territory? What course of action should I take to remedy this situation? I mean, small children are very impressionable, aren't they?
Hopefully my dear wife doesn't read my blog. She just might have my head for this one. :-)
