I'm Back!!!!!!
Well, all you faithful readers and rabid fans (both of you), I'm Back!!!!! I've had a reasonably busy but mostly boring to tell about month, but I'll let you in on the highlights....
First off, Karissa is now 5 months old. (almost 5 1/2 months by now) Here are a couple of pictures of her on the day she turned 5 months....
She is just starting to roll over by herself, and is starting to teethe, so she can be pretty fussy at times. But normally she's pretty cheerful and smiles a lot. She likes stroller rides and loves to be played with. She also chatters a lot and makes plenty of baby noises, quite loudly at times.

In video game news, I have finished Star Wars Demolition, played through Star Wars Republic Commando, and due to recent circumstances, played through most of Lego Star Wars II and a good bit of Star Wars:The Clone Wars. (more on the circumstances later)
Republic Commando is a first-person shooter set during the clone wars. Your first mission is during the battle on Geonosis at the end of Star Wars Episode 2, and it ends up just before Episode 3 picks up. You are the leader of Delta Squad, a four-man squad of elite clone commandos, much better trained and equipped than the standard clones. Unfortunately, the game is reasonably short, and I was a little disappointed with it, but I had fun with it while it lasted.
Our local football team (including yours truly) played a team from Millmont, PA last Saturday, and got our tails soundly kicked. The final score was 60-6. We were outsized and outclassed. The other team's line all weighed over 250, and our biggest player is 240. (at lest so I'm told) They also practice weekly and play regularly, while we play about once a year. 'Nuff said...
We actually did better than we expected at times. We only scored once, but we did reasonably well otherwise, though I think we gained more yards on defense than on offense. :-)
And now, about the "recent circumstances"...
As the last play was wrapping up, after the clock officially ran out, I managed to break the small bone in my lower right leg. I'm not sure exactly how it happened, except that I think it got hit from the side as that foot was planted, whether it got kicked or I tripped over someone or whatever. I hobbled around on it for the rest of the day, and finally went and got it checked out the next morning. See my fine x-ray below. I don't have a cast or anything. I'm just not supposed to put any more weight on it than it hurts to do so. So I've been very bored the last several days. I like reading, playing guitar, and playing video games, but when they are the only things that you can do, they get old pretty quick. I mostly just lay around doing one of those three things being a complete lazy bum all the while.
Anyway, that's what's been happening for me in the last month. Depending how long I'm laid up, I might even update sometime in the next few days if I can find something worth writing about. Who knows?
Stay tuned!!!!!
