Finally...........

Well, as a couple of you have prompted me, it's high time for an update. It's kind of been time for awhile, but it seems that there isn't enough time to do the things I need to do, let alone update a blog. I guess, if I prioritized my time to do this blog, it would get it done more often, but most of the time I kind of struggle with finding things in my little life that would be interesting enough to write about. Thus I kind of debate fairly regularly how worthwhile it is for me to keep it going. Apparently the "ayes" have it for the moment. So, read on, brave souls!!!!
If your math is good, you will have figured out that Karissa will be seven months old on Tuesday (the 21st). She is almost crawling. She gets up on her hands and knees, but doesn't go anywhere. Except to sometimes push herself backwards. She chatters happily a lot, and has taken up growling recently. I don't know where she got it, but she does it. She is also teething, and has her two front teeth on the bottom coming through, so she can be kind of fussy at times. Maybe that's all she wants for Christmas....

My leg is healing fine thus far. I'm walking on it fine. It still hurts a little to jump or run on it, though. At my last doctor visit, I was told that everything was perfectly normal, and that it would be completely healed (both the bone and muscle) in about nine or ten weeks from when it happened. It has been seven now, so before long....

In guitar news, I have recently acquired a new guitar. (I'm trading for it) It's a Dillion DR500X. It's basically a fairly nice copy of a Paul Reed Smith Custom 24. (I think that's the right PRS model) I'm trading a Dillion Les Paul copy on it. It's got a pretty similar sound to a Les Paul, but much nicer, if that makes any sense. It's also MUCH more comfortable to play than a Les Paul, and quite a bit lighter. Very nice, in my opinion. If you would like to see some pictures, go to http://www.madaxe.com/Dillion/E/DR500x/. (I'm too lazy to try to upload pictures on my dial-up right now.)

And, finally, in video game news, I have finished Lego Star Wars II and Star Wars-The Clone Wars, and am almost finished with Ratchet:Deadlocked. Ratchet:Deadlocked is the fourth game in the Ratchet and Clank series. The story is that Ratchet and Clank have been kidnapped and forced to compete in an illegal reality holovision show called Dreadzone. It is basically a gladiator-style combat show, in which the contestants are forced to fight to the death or have the deadlock collars that they are forced to wear around their necks detonated, with fatal results. It's rather short, and not nearly as good as the previous Ratchet and Clank games, but has been fun while it lasted.

Well, there you have it, folks. My life has been officially updated and been put on the web for the world to see, for better or for worse! Oh, well. Until next time.......
